You Nailed It

I always love a good manicure. My friends and I are devoted fans of Valley Nails for their amzaing glitter-filled, tiger-spotted, decoupaged, flashy as all hell manicures. Once during college, I sported acrylic tips embellished with hot rod flames and rhinestones for a couple of months. When it comes to my nails, I’m not particularly shy.

Therefore, I have been quite excited that painted nails are back in style. Not just any painted nails either, the colors are bold or super slick and shiny or even mixed and matched, it’s a new frontier. In response to the nail craze, manicurist to the stars Sophy Robson has started a blog dedicated entirely to the glory of over the top nails. One of my favorite posts is her gradient nails. It’s so much more sophisticated that multi colored nails and what designer doesn’t love a good, tasteful gradient. I think this might be a weekend DIY project in the making.
