Forget Your Troubles C’mon Get Happy

When I got home tonight I was in need of a major pick me up. Thank goodness for beer and pompoms! (And Andy, the man is a moving powerhouse. I don’t know where I’d be without him.)

There is nothing more fun or feminine than a pompom. The Ban.do hairpieces always put a smile on my face. Especially this flirty frilly pouf from their Black Label, it’s a showstopper.

Now, pair it with some of these lovely made-to order crepe paper numbers from Etsy and we’re totally ready to throw a party. I’m game if you are!

    Even better: DIY!

It’s insanely easy! (Though, I recommend using more than 8 sheets of tissue for a more pom-y effect…)

I LOVE this watercolor! Her hair and the pompom are absolutely beautiful.

Hey! Those are the things that Tes and Jason had at their wedding…I think they made them as per the above comment. They were sort of strewn along the walls and collected in corners, with great effect. I know it isn’t an official wedding post, but…ehh, so what?

Ah Siri, that is amazing! Unfortunately I would probably take this diy project waaaay too far (as is my nature) and dedicate two months of my life solidly to making pompoms. Maybe I’ll try a few over the holidays and see how well I can control myself :)
