I have to admit, I’ve never been one for fur. First of all, it’s expensive and second of all I am clumsy and I spill things. I imagine it is a lot easier to get stains out of anything so long as it isn’t fur.

However, I may have to change my tune (or stop carrying any liquids while walking) because I just adore the new crop of fuzzy, furry vests for Fall.

These delightfully shaggy pieces are perfect for layering and can be dressed up with a black mini and heels or dressed down with a flannel shirt. With a long cold winter forecasted, I’m ready to take some cues from our furry friends on how to stay warm through the cold months ahead.

Here are some of my favorites on the market. I opted for faux fur options only but there is so much out there for those who want the real thing as well. I really love that loopy knitted Topshop vest!

While I like them, I just have this image of hippy’s in the sixties and it puts me off. I don’t think they are a piece I shall be wearing this season but I look forward to seeing what people do with them, and what they wear them with.

Hi Alice, I totally see what you mean. For extra inspiration here is a photo I found on the internet of some girls rocking the fur vest without looking like rejects from the cast of the musical Hair

    Looking good in fur

    (sorry its so blurry!)

I love the look of these, I find them really fun! But I am totally against wearing REAL fur so I would go for the faux options!

Hi Lexi, they are fun, aren’t they? I feel you on the real fur thing, that’s why all of the ones I featured are faux!
